Fort Smith High School
Gayle Didier

Forty-five years it is hard to believe. How fast the years have gone.  This will be my first reunion, about time.

I got married while still a senior in high school at the age of 17. I was married for 18 years to you know whom and if you don't that’s OK. We had four children:

Michael: Who is a former police officer, lives in Arkansas is married and has two daughters. Robert:  Lives in South Carolina, divorced and he also has two daughters. William: Who lives in Tulsa and is a Sales Manger for a DVD company. He has three sons. Melissa Gayle: who has just move to Cleveland, Ohio with her Husband who is an engineer with a British company there. Melissa attended WestArk, Tech in Russellville and Indiana University. She was a private banker for Arvest in Tulsa and owned the Mrs. America Pageant this is a national state pageant that the winner goes on to be in Mrs. America pageant in Hawaii.

In 1981 I married George Van Kleeck who was actually born in California. He graduated from the University of Neb. and loves those Huskers. He retired from Sears as a general operations manager. Then went to work for Sam's Club as a store manager. Along with George I gained two stepsons:

Jon who is an accountant and is married with four children, they live in St. Louis. David who is also married has three children and lives in Kentucky. He is a store manger for a Sam's Club.

In this last forty-five years I have lived twice in Little Rock, three times in Tulsa, California, Texas, Arizona, a summer in Nevada, Indiana, Michigan. Also nine years here in Ft. Smith and now I am back as of last summer. We have just built and moved into our retirement home. I am almost afraid to say that after all the moves. Could this really be it?

I attended West Ark for a year. I was an insurance saleswoman, I was a partner in Impact Advertising Company and while I lived in Tulsa I was Special Events director for the Mrs. Oklahoma Pageant.

I have travel to France twice, England twice, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Africa, Copenhagen, Ireland, Mexico, Caribbean Islands, cruise to Bermuda a cruise to St. Thomas, St. Martin, Barbados, Antigua, Puerto Rico.

Hey John Horne ... what a bio ... It's been a great life.
