Has it really been that MANY YEARS? How did this happen?

The year after graduation, Gary Geren (FSHS class of ’56) and I were married (we are STILL married) and moved to Fayetteville and the University of Arkansas. After graduation, we spent 4 years in the Air Force, mainly in Spokane, Washington. After the Air Force, we decided to make Tulsa our home and have lived here since 1966.

We have two daughters, Laurie and Leslie and one son, Greg, plus son-in-law and daughter-in-law and five grandchildren, 19, 18, 17, 16, and 11. They all live here in Tulsa. As you can probably tell, I am all about family. What a blessing they are.

During the time our family was growing up, I was a manager with a direct sales jewelry company, then I became a real estate associate and worked with that for a few years but most of my employment has been in the medical field. I was office manager and assistant for a psychiatrist for about 20 years. That was very interesting and now I think I should have some sort of “therapy” privileges, that of being the therapist – not getting the therapy – but then that might work too. I started a new job about a year ago as an Administrative Assistant with the University of Oklahoma Medical School and really enjoy it.

Gary retired last year. He stays very busy and is not sure how he had time to work before. I guess the word "retirement" is not in my vocabulary YET.
