Brian A. Snow, General Counsel Emeritus, Colorado State University System, Fort Collins, Colorado. Mr. Snow served from 1988 to 2003 as
the chief counsel for the governing board of the Colorado State University System and its constituent institutions; Colorado State
University and the University of Southern Colorado (know as Colorado State University-Pueblo). He is a former voting member of this board.
Mr. Snow received B.S.B.A and M.A. (Political Science) degrees from the University of Arkansas and a J.D. degree from the Duke University
School of Law, where he was a member of the Editorial Board of the Duke Law Journal. He also attended the Iliff School of Theology in
After graduation from college, Mr. Snow was a Staff Reporter for the Wall Street Journal. He later served as Assistant Dean and Associate
Professor of Law at the University of Arkansas School of Law and engaged in the private practice of law in Denver for a number of years.
He is a former member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of College and University Law and the Authors Committee for the Education Law
He has written and published more than a dozen law review articles, and has spoken extensively on various topics involving issues in
higher education. He recently served as a member of Governor Ritter's Transition Committee for Higher Education in Colorado.
Mr. Snow was honored to be named a Life Member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys.
